📜 Terms & Conditions – IK Apparel UK

Welcome to IK Apparel. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing a custom clothing, private label, OEM/ODM, teamwear, sportswear, or bulk apparel order. By working with us, you agree to the following policies, which are designed to keep the process clear for UK clothing brands, startups, teams, clubs, schools, online stores, wholesalers, and United Kingdom apparel buyers.

1. Payment Terms

• For samples or small orders, full payment in advance is required before sample development or production begins.
• For bulk orders, we usually require 50% advance payment and the remaining 50% before shipment once goods are ready for dispatch.
• Payments are accepted through official bank transfer or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight, where agreed before order confirmation.
• Production, sourcing, printing, embroidery, branding, packaging, or shipping work starts only after agreed payment terms are met.

2. Company Policy

• All prices are quoted on an FOB (Free on Board) basis unless a different pricing term is agreed in writing. FOB pricing includes local transportation and handling costs up to the agreed export point.
• Customers are responsible for freight, courier, duty, taxes, customs clearance, and destination charges after goods leave our facility unless CIF or another shipping term is agreed.
• For CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) pricing, we include the agreed costs up to the destination port stated in the quotation.
• According to company policy, samples are not shipped free of cost. Sample charges, courier charges, and any special development costs are confirmed before sampling.
• Average production time is usually 10-15 business days after sample approval, order confirmation, payment confirmation, and final approval of fabric, artwork, trims, labels, and packaging details.
• We use reliable international couriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS for suitable shipments, especially smaller orders and sample parcels, depending on order size and destination.

3. Shipping & Delivery

• All shipments are checked, packed, and prepared for dispatch after production and quality control.
• Delivery times depend on order size, customisation level, courier service, freight route, customs clearance, and destination within the UK or worldwide.
• Tracking details are shared once the order has been dispatched.
• IK Apparel is not responsible for courier delays, customs delays, import duties, taxes, or local destination charges that are outside our control.
• For UK shipping, delivery timelines may vary depending on courier handling, customs clearance, order volume, and final delivery address.

4. Damages or Defects

• If products are received with a genuine production defect or shipment-related damage, the buyer must provide clear photos, videos, order details, and quantity details within 7 days of receiving the shipment.
• After review, approved defective items may be replaced in the next order where applicable. Shipping cost is excluded unless agreed separately.
• Minor shade variation, fabric batch variation, handmade tolerance, print/embroidery placement tolerance, and measurement tolerance may occur in custom apparel manufacturing.
• Issues caused by incorrect buyer artwork, wrong size data, unclear tech packs, late changes, incorrect roster details, or unapproved washing methods are not treated as production defects.

5. Order Cancellation & Price Adjustment

• IK Apparel reserves the right to cancel or request a price adjustment before final order confirmation in case of extreme fabric, trims, courier, currency, or market cost changes.
• Once an order is confirmed, payment is received, and production has started, the order cannot usually be cancelled because custom garments, labels, trims, printing, embroidery, and packaging are made specifically for the buyer.
• After confirmed approval, the agreed price remains fixed for that order unless the buyer requests design changes, fabric changes, quantity changes, shipping changes, packaging changes, or extra services.

6. Intellectual Property

• All designs, logos, brand names, graphics, artwork, tech packs, and custom files provided by clients remain the client’s intellectual property and are used only for production purposes.
• IK Apparel does not share, reproduce, resell, or transfer client designs without written permission.
• The buyer is responsible for ensuring that supplied artwork, logos, trademarks, licensed graphics, team marks, and brand assets are legally owned or authorised for use.
• IK Apparel may refuse production if artwork appears to infringe another brand’s rights or includes restricted, misleading, or unauthorised material.

7. Returns & Refunds

• Because custom clothing, private label apparel, teamwear, samples, and OEM/ODM garments are made-to-order, returns and refunds are not applicable unless a genuine production issue is identified and approved after review.
• Approved samples, approved fabric, approved artwork, approved size specs, approved labels, approved packaging, and approved order details are used as the production reference.
• Refunds are not provided for buyer-side changes after approval, incorrect buyer-provided information, wrong size selections, artwork mistakes, or delays caused by late approvals.
• Our quality control process includes fabric inspection, stitching checks, print or embroidery review, measurement checks, packaging checks, and final manual audit where applicable.

8. Samples, Approvals & Buyer Responsibility

• Samples are recommended before bulk production so the buyer can check fabric, GSM, fit, stitching, decoration, labels, packaging, and final garment appearance.
• Bulk production begins only after the buyer approves the sample or written production details.
• Buyers must provide clear tech packs, size charts, Pantone or colour references, artwork files, logo placement, roster details, label files, packaging instructions, and shipping information where required.
• Any change requested after approval may affect price, production time, delivery time, and material availability.
